This is a collage of looks that I created while on Polyvore. I was supposed to be typing a 5-page paper but need a mental break and decided to do something a little more enlightening. So started randomly picking pieces that I liked, almost as if I was in a mall or something...lls I jumped back and forth from my paper to my virtual shopping spree. Sunny Days & Swimwear

Hey Beach Babes,

After the big epidemic that plus size woman can wear what they want. And the phrase if you can do it I can do it better fits perfectly when were discussing swimwear. It seem like last summer more designers and retailers started offering trendier and more fashionable swimsuits for us plus size divas. And the best part is there not just the boring one-piece bathing suits we're now able to purchase two-piece swimsuits that are flattering for a woman with curves. This summer I plan on living (not literally) at the beach I just love the relaxed atmosphere and now I can it in style. Here are some of my favorite swimsuits from retailers that offer curvy girl-friendly swimwear. Enjoy!!!!

March On Washington!!!

Hey Luvies,
I know I've been gone for awhile and please forgive me, its been for good reasons. Since I have been M.I.A I have a special Carpe Diem adventure to share with you. I went to to D.C. this past weekend to experience and participate in the March on Washington. I truly can say I enjoyed myself just being apart of a new history, if you would like to see a little footage from the rally you can check out my IG @BRWNBRBII. I wasn't able to capture the speakers because there was so many people from all different races there wanting the same amazing experience of commemorating history. After the rally I did end up going out that evening just to see what the street of D.C. had to offer and of course as we know that was a BLAST!!! My trip was fun-filled with a lot of sight seeing and also this is my excuse to share some new fashion pieces with you ladies. I hope you like...

South Carolina 4th of July Weekend

I'm so excited to do this style story for you ladies. This will be an overview on my 4th of July weekend in Charleston, South Carolina. This was my first time being there an not just heading straight to the beach. I was invited to go by one of my closest friends to celebrate the holidays but also for her aunt's birthday celebration. Hey Groovy Dolls,
So today I'm coming to you because I absolutely love Chrisette Michele new album "Better". She an amazing women and her music is off the charts. There was a song on her album named "Rich Hipster" feat. Wale that I so fell in love with as soon as it hit my ears. So this style story is in ode to this wonderful woman. All of us ladies have and hipster/ flower power side. Just wanting to be free, tranquil, and ready to have a good time. With this styling I paired a royal blue romper with a white woven vest and added a butterfly belt to accentuate my waist. Adding the woven vest gives you the coverage on your chest and back since it is a strapless romper. With the small details of fringe on the vest and a butterfly on the belt puts you in the mindset of a free-spirited diva. For the footwear I would probaly wear a black sandal or black heel to convert this outfit from day to night. I'm loving every bit of this chic and classy outfit as well as Chrisette Michele's new album which has made it to my top 5. Please go check it out and stay tuned for another STYLE STORY...
